IOGT World Congress and Active summer camp and congress 2010 takes place in Fredrikstad in the south of Norway. It`s called "Experience 2010" because we believe it will be a unique mix of togetherness and inspiration.
The site is the fortified Old Town in Fredrikstad, the best preserved in Scandinavia, at the mouth of River Glomma. This part of Norway has the best summer weather in Scandinavia.
At daytime congress delegates and other participants will be busy with important decisionmaking. If you are not a delegate, you can choose between the Congress sessions and a diversity of workshops, sports and trips. At night-time there will be cultural and social gatherings, concluded with the big finishing banquet on Friday night. Meet friends and get new ones in the night cafe or in several other informal meeting places.
We also offer a programme for children with games and excursions.
The camp and congress lasts from Saturday 31st July to Saturday 7th August, starting with the Active congress on the 31st and the IOGT International Assembly on the3rd.
