IP member of Eurocare Board 2006/06/10
A new Board was elected and the the future of Eurocare was discussed at the latest Eurocare Annual Meeting, held in Cambridge 15-17 September.
Michel Craplet from ANPAA (Association Nationale de - Prévention de l´Alcoolisme) will continue as Chairman of Eurocare. Andrew McNeill (Director of the Institute of Alcohol Studies – UK) was elected as Eurocare Secretary. The International President of IOGT International, Sven Olov Carlsson, was elected as Treasurer in his function as President of the Swedish IOGT-NTO.
Members of the Board of Directors were also elected:
- Chairman Michel Craplet (ANPAA (Association Nationale de Prévention en Alcoologie et Addictologie))
- Vice Chairman: Tiziana Codenotti (Eurocare Italia) and Rolf Huellinghorst (DHS)
- Honorary Secretary: Andrew McNeill (Institute of Alcohol Studies)
- Vice Secretary: Ritva Varamäki (Finnish Centre for Health Promotion)
- Treasurer: Sven-Olov Carlsson (IOGT-NTO)
As well as a new Policy Group:
- Wim van Dalen (STAP (Stichting Alcoholpreventie))
- Marion Rackard (Alcohol Action Ireland)
- Claude Rivière (ANPAA)
- Johan Damgaard Jensen (Danish Alcohol Policy Network)
