I live in South Bend, Indiana, USA and I am a retired university professor.
I was born into a Good Templar family in 1936 shortly after Prohibition ended in America (1933).
In April of 2012 I will be a member of IOGT for 70 years.
I am very much interested in the political and economic process as well as the Sage-ing process (how we experience life after 60 years old). And I love travel - we've been to Europe, Asia and various parts of the USA already this year.
And I love my children (we have a daughter named Linnea) and my grandchildren (we have 6 with 2 more coming yet this year.)
So it is about:
1. Enjoying retirement, but being productive during this third stage of life.
2. Being continually amazed at the many wonderful, often unexpected events that occur every day as well as some often very atriotious experiences as well.
3. The continual pursuit of a better life for all.
